January 5, 2015 – San Diego, CA – The 4SRanch~Del Sur Community Foundation(4SCF) seeks businesses interested in making a positive impact in their community by becoming a sponsor of the 2015 Thank You Run on Thanksgiving Day. The race has grown into a popular pre-turkey dinner tradition that benefits 4SCF, an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, as well as Helen’s Closet, an organization that serves patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
Last year’s race raised $20,000 for its causes and the 4S Ranch-Del Sur Community Foundation put its share to work in its community in the form of grants benefitting local needs. In 2015, the foundation will celebrate its eighth year of supporting organizations, projects and programs dedicated to improving the lives of those who live, work and play in 4S Ranch and Del Sur.
Sponsorship packages start at $300 and span opportunities from a booth at the event to logo visibility on community posters, event t-shirt and more. Last year’s race experienced a 60 percent growth in registrations, totaling 1,300 participants for its 10K, 5K and one mile fun run options. The Thank You Run included a family festival at the finish line and food drive that collected more than 3,000 pounds of food.
