November 15, 2016 – San Diego, CA – Chula Vista Charitable Foundation (CVCF), an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, today announced its annual call for grant applications. In its 7th grant cycle, CVCF invites nonprofit organizations and agencies to submit project proposals that support the physical or mental well-being and educational development of children and youth within Chula Vista.
Proposals can focus on a broad range of programs which meet a timely youth development need for infants to those 20 years of age. Examples of program areas include but are not limited to arts, hunger, early education, healthcare and recreation.
Eligible nonprofit organizations serving Chula Vista may submit proposals of $5,000 to $50,000. Additionally, projects should be practical, achievable within a 12-month time frame, and have prospects for long-term sustainability. Grant guidelines are available here.
