August 7, 2017 – San Diego, CA – Chula Vista Charitable Foundation (CVCF), an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, today announced a call for Letters of Intent from nonprofit organizations. In its 8th grant cycle, CVCF invites nonprofit organizations and agencies to submit a letter of intent for programs that strengthen the Chula Vista community through workforce development and job training.

Letters of Intent can focus on a broad range of programs that support job growth and development in Chula Vista. Examples of program areas include but are not limited to job creation, job training, leadership development and career support services.

Eligible nonprofit organizations serving Chula Vista may submit Letters of Intent for programs of $5,000 up to $55,000. Programs should be practical, achievable within a 12-month time frame, and have prospects for long-term sustainability. Grant guidelines are available here.

The deadline for Letters of Intent is August 28, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Notifications to qualified nonprofits selected to submit a full application will be made no later than September 20, 2017.
