I hope you are having a joyful holiday season. As we end 2016, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and dedication to the Carlsbad Charitable Foundation (CCF) and share a few highlights from the past few months.
Membership Holiday Party
We had a successful Membership Holiday Party December 1 at the beautiful home of Pam Valinet. The evening was a perfect combination of great conversations, holiday laughter, delicious food and ambient music.
Executive Director of Interfaith Services Greg Anglea shared the impact that CCF grants have had on his organization and others in our local neighborhood.
Member Updates and Grant Cycle
CCF is proud to announce that we had five new members join since our Holiday event!
Members and guests are always welcome to join us at our events so that they can experience firsthand the benefits of being a member of CCF.
CCF is in its tenth grant cycle.
We’re inviting San Diego County nonprofits serving and impacting the residents of Carlsbad to submit applications with a focus on Health & Human Service projects that achieve success in reducing drug and alcohol dependency.
For more information about the grant cycle, please contact Kerri Favela at kerri@sdfoundation.org.
The grant application deadline is January 9 at 5:00pm.
Member Events
We are pleased to announce a few upcoming events in 2017.
In early 2017, we will be having a CCF member event focusing on our Under 40 membership. And in the Spring, we’ll be having our annual Spring Member Mixer. More details to follow.
In addition to CCF’s Facebook page, I’m happy to announce we’ve relaunched our Twitter account @CBADCharitable thanks in large part to the efforts of Under 40 member Steve Puterski!
Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for photos, updates, news and more.
Wishing you a relaxing holiday season and a great 2017 as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary. Happy New Year!
