- The San Diego Foundation is accepting applications to support older adults in San Diego through the Age Friendly Communities (AFC) Grant. The AFC Grant application is open to organizations whose projects and programs serve older adults in San Diego County, with an emphasis on equity in aging. Deadline: August 13, 2021, at 5:00 pm
- The Dr. Seuss Foundation is seeking applications for its grant program to support improving literacy and learning as these skills are essential to arts and humanities, health and well-being, animal welfare, and the environment. Deadline: August 1, 2021, 5:00pm

- Ability Central (formerly the Disability Communications Fund) is accepting Letters of Intent (LOI) for its 2022 Grant Program. Ability Central supports organizations, programs and technology that benefit communication and information access needs of Californians with disabilities. Deadline: July 23, 2021
- Cox Charities is accepting applications for their Community Grants program. The program aligns with their following focus areas: youth and education; conservation & sustainability; inclusion, equity & diversity; and bridging the digital divide. Deadline: July 31, 2021
- Allianz Foundation is accepting applications from nonprofits with programs that align with their focus for impact: the creation and expansion of opportunities for personal and professional growth for high school/GED-aged teenagers and young adults (ages 16-25). Deadline: July 31, 2021
- The Alaska Airlines Foundation LIFT program is accepting applications for programs that inspire, empower, mentor, engage and equip young people to connect to career opportunities and to imagine what’s possible. Grants generally range from $5,000 to $20,000. Deadline: July 31, 2021
- The U.S. Bank Foundation is accepting applications from organizations for the Home Pillar application, focusing on programs that provide support to critical financial needs due to COVID-19. Deadline: July 31, 2021
- The Walter J. & Betty C. Zable Foundation is now accepting applications and seeks to continue the legacy of the founders by encouraging and promoting health and science research and assisting programs that benefit youth, underprivileged individuals, and sports-related activities primarily in San Diego County. Deadline: August 1, 2021
- To ensure the California State Park system is more welcoming, accessible, and relevant to all visitors, Parks California is proud to launch the second year of the Route to Parks Grants program. Parks California anticipates grant awards will average $15,000. Deadline: August 6, 2021, at 5:00pm
