GREETINGS!
We are excited to see you at our upcoming annual Thanksgiving Luncheon that celebrates the generosity of our community. Thanks to the generosity of our RB Community Foundation members, RBCF will award a record-breaking amount, over $100,000.00, to local nonprofits serving the Rancho Bernardo area.
Join us Thursday, November 16th, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Rancho Bernardo Inn.
Please note that it is on Thursday this year. Purchase your tickets no later than Nov. 8, as seating will be assigned Nov. 11.
To purchase by check, please contact Eve Childs at echilds@sdfoundation.org. Mail check to San Diego Foundation, Attn: Eve Childs, 2508 Historic Decatur Rd., Ste. 200, San Diego, CA 92106.
Congratulations to our 2023 Pathway of Pride recipients, honored on September 13th 2023 with plaques that surround Webb Lake! These generous donations not only support the endowment for the RBCF, but live on to support non-profit organizations serving Rancho Bernardo in perpetuity!
I feel very proud to lead this community foundation. Founded in 1988 by our forward-thinking community leaders 35 years ago, RBCF is one of the oldest community foundations in the San Diego region. None of this philanthropy is possible without your generous donations and I want to thank you for your commitment to our community! It is your membership contributions that make our annual grantmaking possible. Please know how grateful we all are for your continued support!

Grantee Spotlight
We checked in with David Beevers, Digital Divide Program Manager at RBCF 2022 grantee, San Diego Oasis. He runs a program called Bridging the Digital Divide which provides equipment and technical training for those who are often left out.
“Thanks to your kindness, you all have helped change so many people’s lives. It has opened a whole new world for so many. I have seen so many smiles and happy tears. Thanks to you all!” –David Beevers
Volunteer Spotlight: More about Debbie
We are so proud to recognize Debbie Kurth as the 2023 RBCF Volunteer of the Year!

Additionally, she was honored with the Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. In 2019, she was inducted into the Rancho Bernardo Hall of Fame (she is now its president). She was also named “Woman of the Year” for California’s 77th Assembly District in 2019.
