April 9, 2024 – San Diego, CA – San Diego Foundation (SDF) and presenting sponsor PNC Bank announced today the launch of early bird registration for the second annual San Diego Fundraising Conference to support local nonprofit professionals on Friday, Sept. 20.
“San Diego Foundation is committed to inspiring enduring philanthropy and enabling community solutions to improve the quality of life in our region,” said Mark Stuart, CFRE, President & CEO of SDF. “Through the San Diego Fundraising Conference, we lift up our local nonprofit community and build up its capacity to better serve our region and connect donors with meaningful charitable causes.”
The conference theme — “Navigating the Future of Philanthropy” — reflects this accessible opportunity for development professionals to learn from national experts about how to navigate an ever-changing fundraising landscape. The one-day conference, held at Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel in downtown San Diego, will feature many speakers, including Kim Klein, internationally known as a fundraising consultant, trainer and facilitator, and author of “Fundraising for Social Change,” and Karen Osborne, fundraising expert and Senior Strategist with the Osborne Group, an international nonprofit consultancy. As an added benefit, this year’s conference will also feature an exhibitors’ hall featuring nonprofit services and vendors.
Early bird registration is $125 and is available until midnight, Friday, May 31. Regular registration will be $150 and available until the event sells out or Aug. 30, 2024. Registration includes access to multiple learning sessions from fundraising professionals; a reusable tote bag with a copy of the book “Fundraising for Social Change” and a water bottle; and a continental breakfast, lunch and coffee throughout the day. The cost of registration represents the fair market value of the conference. For more information or to register, visit SDFoundation.org/SDFC.
